HOW DOES IT WORK?

Hair sampling procedures for analysis

Hair is a real safeguard of the molecules with which we are and have been in contact. Indeed, during its growth, it will accumulate within its protein structure a huge amount of data corresponding to our diet, our living environment, our activities. Thus a centimeter of hair will represent approximately one month of the donor's living conditions.


Hair sampling is simple and non-invasive, its particularly easy conservation (in an envelope at room temperature) and its exceptional stability (non-biodegradable biological matrix) make hair an ideal matrix for research into exposure to toxic substances.

International Reputation In addition to France, hair analysis is sought after by international agencies in the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, New Zealand, and the United States. INNOVATIONS 2024 Restoration of Driver's Licenses and Family Matters In 2024, ChemTox marks a new era dedicated to the restoration of driver's licenses and family matters. Leveraging our network of Eurofins city laboratories, we offer these innovative services throughout France. This initiative underscores our commitment to providing unique, accessible, and effective solutions. Cutting-Edge Technology We are dedicated to providing only reliable results (ISO 17 025 accreditation). Consequently, we utilize only high-sensitivity and high-specificity mass spectrometry techniques. Our Laboratories Specialize ChemTox is refocusing its activities on its core business, specifically the toxicological analysis of hair. By transferring its other toxicological analyses to Toxlab Grand Est, which is dedicated to the analysis of classic biological matrices, ChemTox is also consolidating its service offerings with genetic fingerprinting laboratories. This optimizes its capacity to respond to various requests from judicial services. Moreover, ChemTox is expanding with an additional area of 300 m² and soon over 450 m².
